Israeli dancer Atalya Baumer will conduct a dance workshop on December 20-21, 2014 at the Gati Dance Studio, S-17, Khirki Extension, New Delhi

The goal of this 2-day workshop is to give dancers tools that will help them develop their own language in dance.

The workshop has three focus areas:  technique, improvisation and choreography.

In the last segment of the workshop, the dancers will create a short solo piece that they will perform to an open audience.

Atalya Baumer is from Israel and graduated from the High Academy of Dance, Jerusalem. She has specialized in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary Dance and Choreography.

She has taught dance and choreography in Israel for 8 years and in India for the past 2 years at various dance schools including Attakkalari, Terence Lewis & Danceworx.
